Koh Phi Phi Don belongs to the famous archipelago, Phi Phi Islands. It is the biggest island among its sisters. It comprises of two islands joined by a narrow isthmus, which unites Ao Ton Sai and Ao Lo Dalam. These two bays have lovely curves of white sandy beach and crystal clear water.

Hike Koh Phi Phi Don highest point
Phi Phi viewpoint is the highest point in Koh Phi Phi Don. It takes 20 to 30 minutes hiking to get to the top. You’ll walk on a steep path, climb hundred of steps and follow narrow twisting ways. To get up here, you need to start from Tonsai Village then follow the signs on the road heading northeast.
Chill on the Beach
There are plenty of beaches in Koh Phi Phi Don, such as Long Beach, Laem Tong Beach, Loh Dalum Beach and much more! Each beach has its own strong features. Whether you just want to relax and read a book or have a glass of beer and chat with friends, chilling on the beach never gets wrong.
Long Beach is one of the most popular ones. Despite being overcrowded sometimes, tourists still love to go here. Most people argue it is the softest and whitest sand beach on the island. To get here, you can either walk through the jungle from Tonsai Village or take a longtail boat from the centre of the island for less than ten minutes!

Rock Climbing at Tonsai Tower
Do you want to stay active on holiday? Head to Tonsai Beach and climb the Tonsai Tower. The playground is made of titanium and stainless steel glue in bolts. All equipment are regularly maintained. Highly experienced instructors will accompany you during the whole process.
No experience needed to climb Tonsai Tower. There are few ways to reach the top, from beginner, moderate to the advanced routes. You can do a fun climbing or difficult climbing, depends on your preferences. No matter which, you’ll get to see the stunning view of hillside, ocean and cliffs from the top.

Watch a Muay Thai Fight
Thailand is where Muay Thai started. It is an ancient art of eight limbs, which means the fighter use both fists and feet along with elbows and knees while fighting.
To enjoy a Muay Thai fight, you don’t need to join the game necessarily. Watching a Muay Thai fight is another way of enjoying it! In Koh Phi Phi Don, there is a reggae bar that regularly hosts Muay Thai fights.
Sometimes, not only the assigned people get their turn to fight. The host occasionally asks two people from the audiences to step into the ring and fight. Prizes are always available. Usually, the winner gets a free bucket of alcohol. Either you’re only going to watch or interested in joining, remember to be safe!
Dive in the Shark Point
Koh Phi Phi Don is the heaven for divers. Across the Long Beach, there is a big rock breaking the surface of the water, which is called Shark Point. Here you can spot black tip reef sharks. Because of its beautiful coral reefs and sharks appearances, Shark Point is one of the best diving spots in Southern Thailand.

Watch the sunsets
There are several great spots to watch the sunsets at Koh Phi Phi Don. The sun goes down between 6.30 to 7.00, depends on the season throughout the year.
The best spot goes to Loh Dalum Bay. This beach is the most convenient and accessible with bars in every few metres, so you can watch the sky when it turns to cotton candy pink with a glass of sweet cocktail.
